Hand washing isn’t always thought to be an essential consideration for good health but it really is. Germs on surfaces we come in contact with can easily spread. Frequent hand-washing is a surprisingly simple, yet effective technique for preventing spread of germs and illness. In many countries, people are told to wash their hands more often during flu season but it’s important to wash hands regularly any time of the year.

Even if you already wash your hands well, this can be used to teach your children about the importance of washing their hands and how to do it properly. If you run a food business e.g. cafe, restaurant, food factory, it’s essential that all employees wash their hands regular and properly in order to prevent the spread of bacteria and contamination in food so you may want to get them a copy of this infographic.
