Do you have type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes? Whether you’ve had diabetes for a long-time or have just been diagnosed, we can help you manage your diabetes through dietary and lifestyle modification.
We will help you learn about type 2 diabetes, what affects your blood sugars, diabetes complications and how to reduce risk of these as well as guide you with making good food choices.
We will put together some goals and a personalised meal plan to help you manage your diabetes. If you have any other health or dietary concerns like needing to lose weight or reduce cholesterol, we can also target these goals providing you with a comprehensive plan.
HOW IT WORKS
At your initial appointment, we will review your diet history, medical history, blood sugars and related health markers, goals, current food intake, likes/dislikes and any food allergies/intolerances.
After your consultation we will put together goals that were discussed, supplementary information including food lists and a personalised meal plan to follow. Follow- up appointments will involve reviewing your progress, any struggles you had, blood sugar and health marker changes and updating your goals and meal plan and discussing your next steps.
